You are the MOST POWERFUL when you’re your most authentic self.
And you clients (and prospective clients) and everyone around you feels it.

Too often we inject how we feel we should be, what other people expect of us.
And then we wonder why we don’t have the influence we’d like and why we’re unhappy.
You may have heard that the reason for our suffering is that we keep ‘should-ing’ all over ourselves.
And this is accurate.

You know that feeling where you JUST KNOW you’re not in alignment with yourself – your true self… It feels uneasy.
We’ve all been there, by the way.

The NUMBER ONE secret sauce to becoming the best version of ourselves (including being successful and happy) is to be authentic.

You may be wondering: How do I do that?

While breaking the mound of decades of conditioning is not easy, here’s where we can all begin.

1. NOTICE those moment when you feel out of alignment.
Sometimes it helps to actually write down those realizations.
What were you doing? Why? Whom were you trying to impress?
And what would rather feel better and more true to you?
You’ll be training your mind to become more CONSCIOUS of what’s most authentic to you.

2. Give yourself PERMISSION to be YOU.
Once you’re aware of what it actually means to be authentic, it’s time to make sure that you’re giving yourself permission,
and not standing in your own way.
Many people miss this step because they compare themselves to others and judge their own true self as less-than.
This couldn’t be further from the truth.
Your only job on this planet is to be you.

3. HANG AROUND authentic people.
You’ve probably heard that if you hang around 9 successful people, you’ll likely be the 10th.
If you hang around 9 broke people, you’ll probably be the 10th…and so it goes.
The same applies to authentic people.
You know who they are – you can’t help but be drawn to them. They have a magnetic energy.
Seek out more people like that and surround yourself by them.
Before you know it, you’re giving yourself permission to be your unique, weird crazy self,
simply because they give themselves that exact permission.

4. Do ONE thing that HONOURS you every day
When someone is going through a slump and I give them this one exercise to do for seven days, their lives change.
Every single time.
Because we don’t take that time to honour our authentic selves.
And then we wonder why we can’t seem to even know what that looks like.
I don’t know what honouring yourself looks like to you.
It could be exercise; it could be meditation; it could be painting, or writing.
Only you know what it is for you.
Commit to doing that, even if it’s for just 5 minutes. And do it daily.
And what the transformation into power, fun, influence, fulfillment and success.

I’ll leave you with my fave 3 words these days: YOU DO YOU.

PS: In this week’s video I share a bit about my new favourite necklace and where this nugget about authenticity came from.

Love & light,
